You have the right to opt out of the sharing of your information for these purposes. We do not knowingly sell or share the information of consumers under 16 years of age.

5. Categories of Information Disclosed for a Business Purpose

We disclose personal information to service providers and third parties to run our business and provide services to you. These categories include:

  • Affiliates: Such as Private Client Services (PCS), which provides supervision and compliance oversight.
  • Service Providers: Custodians (e.g., Pershing, Fidelity, Schwab), payment processors, web hosts, and portfolio management software (e.g., Orion, Pontera).
  • Compensation and Benefit Partners: Third parties that provide technology, research, and marketing support, which may be provided to us based on our custodial relationships.
  • Legal and Regulatory Entities: As required by law, court order, or formal request.

6. Compensation, Billing, and Conflicts of Interest

To provide full transparency regarding our business model:

  • Compensation Models: Our Investment Advisor Representatives (IARs) may be compensated through a combination of asset-based advisory fees, fixed fees for financial planning, or commissions on securities transactions (when acting in their capacity as registered representatives of an affiliated broker-dealer). This creates a conflict of interest, as our representatives may have an incentive to recommend products that generate commission-based compensation.
  • Custodial Benefits: We receive economic benefits from our custodians (e.g., Pershing, Schwab, Fidelity), including software, research, and business consulting services. These benefits may influence our recommendation of a custodian, representing a potential conflict of interest.
  • Billing Practices: We bill for advisory services either in advance (at the beginning of the quarter) or in arrears (monthly or quarterly), depending on the specific platform and the Investment Management Agreement signed by the client. Fees are typically deducted directly from your account, but in certain “held-away” account programs (e.g., 401(k)s), fees may be billed to other taxable accounts or directly to the client

7. Use or Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

We limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to that which is necessary to perform the services reasonably expected by you, to ensure the security of our systems, and to comply with legal obligations, such as:

  • Performing services reasonably expected by an average consumer.
  • Preventing, detecting, and investigating security incidents.
  • Resisting malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal actions.
  • Ensuring physical safety.
  • Short-term transient use.
  • Quality assurance, improvement, and internal operations.

You have the right to limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information.
